For this design, we wanted to incorporate some of the heavy motifs present in the story, for this reason we gave it a thorough read and noticed some themes that appeared often. We saw that blood and water had a significant importance, for this reason we went for red-stained watercolors.

With these things in mind we set out to design a book cover that would have a close link to these themes. The outcome was a beautiful book cover that translates wonderfully from one medium to the other. Be it on print, digital (color), or digital (black and white Kindle).
